Accessibility

The Gasometer Oberhausen is largely barrier-free accessible. Only the area on the so-called Manege is not fully accessible with a wheelchair/walking aid. With the help of the lifts, the exhibition levels, the spectator area as well as the tour above the Manege and also the panorama platforms on the roof can be reached. Please contact our staff on site if required.

Wheelchairs are available for hire by prior arrangement.

Barrier-free sanitary facilities are available.

Disabled parking spaces are available directly in front of the entrance to the Gasometer at the Info Lounge.

Severely disabled persons with the appropriate B mark on their pass can take an accompanying person into the Gasometer free of charge. No ticket is required for the accompanying person.

Separate guided tours for the blind and visually impaired are available on request. Guide dogs are allowed.
