"A shrink-wrapped exhibition catalogue - how does that fit together?"
When planning the catalogues for our exhibitions, the focus is always on sustainable and resource-saving production.
The catalogue was printed on FSC-certified paper from responsible sources and produced in Germany in a climate-neutral way: 70.11 tonnes of CO² were offset and in this context a climate protection project for forest conservation in Pará, Brazil was supported.
However, there was one thing we could not completely do without: In order to protect the sensitive catalogues and the high-quality paper from the special external influences (temperature fluctuations, humidity) in the exhibition space of the Gasometer, we decided, after thorough consideration, to shrink-wrap the books - not without looking for the most sustainable solution there as well: The film used is marked with the green dot and is completely recyclable.
A compromise that serves to protect the books - so that you can take a perfect copy home with you!
The catalogues for our exhibitions are published in German and English by KLARTEXT-Verlag.
